Every piece is handmade in a small studio at my home in Washington, DC, where I spend most of my evenings and weekends pouring, sanding, sealing, and packing each item with care. Orders are shipped directly from my home studio, keeping production small-scale, local, and personal.

We primarily use cement or resin (Zero-VOC or Plant-Based), natural pigments, and beeswax finishes to ensure beauty, durability, and sustainability.

Cement

• Reusable Molds: We use the same molds again and again, reducing single-use materials in the production process.

Resin

Resin gives us the freedom to create intricate designs, smooth finishes, and vibrant color blends. While conventional resin isn't always sustainable, we consciously choose safer, more eco-friendly options:

• Zero-VOC & Plant-Based Resins: We prioritize resins made from renewable, plant-based sources or those that are free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
• Long-Lasting: Resin is highly durable and wear-resistant, helping reduce overconsumption.
• Minimal Waste: Just like with cement, we use reusable molds to keep production waste to a minimum.

Finishes & Sealers

We choose finishing materials that support both product longevity and environmental safety:

• Water-Based Sealers: These are free of harsh chemicals and provide a safe, eco-friendly protective finish.
• Beeswax Coating: Our natural beeswax finish enhances water resistance while being completely non-toxic and biodegradable.

In an effort to reduce waste, we reuse packing materials like paper and bubble wrap from packages we personally receive. It’s not always “pretty,” but it’s purposeful, helping give new life to materials that would otherwise be thrown away.

Yes, we do accept returns though we kindly ask for your understanding. All of our products are made in small batches and often to order, so each piece is unique and made with care.

If you’d like to return an item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if the item is not returned in its original condition.
